Come make disciples with us this summer in Marks Village! The Reading Club will have 5 days of fun summer camp! We will have daily devotions, reading time, and field trips! We will use this time for “voluminous and frequent reading”, the two highest determinants of reading success. Our daily field trips will give us opportunities for new experiences, relationship-growth, vocabulary-building, and gospel conversations. We will have approximately 12 campers, 1st-5th grade, the current members of the Reading Club. You do not need to be able to attend every day of the week, but if possible, please commit to at least 2 days if you are serving as a Reading Buddy.

Training
Training/Orientation: Thursday, June 1st 4:30-5:30pm
We'll be having a training event on Thursday, June 1st. That day will give you a chance to get oriented to the plan for the week and what your role will be!
How to serve
Reading Buddies are adult volunteers who want to read, play, and go on field trips with us! You will read with a child one-on-one and play and field trip in small groups. You will volunteer for two or more whole days during the week.
Lunch Crew will prepare a hot meal for us in the kitchen while we are busy reading, playing, and learning. Lunch Crew is welcome to eat lunch with us if you would like. Lunch Crew will serve one or more days from 11:30am-12:15pm.
