Are your mind and heart turned toward acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God through lifting up the oppressed held captive through poverty? Join like-minded Christ followers at Oak Tree Ministries. We labor together with the 2500+ people of the Marks Village housing project in Gate City. We address physical, psychological and spiritual needs through Gospel-centered ministries on paths of relationship, restoration, relief and rehabilitation. The Bible Club is the ministry's first and largest initiative engaging 100+ students with over 30 community volunteers joining the effort. Volunteers build relationships and disciple the kids through free play, worship, large and small group study of the Word, prayer, and a meal. No experience needed, just a heart to obey the Lord and make disciples among His people. If you’re  thinking of jumping in on Sunday afternoons with Bible Club, sign up to come visit!

We'll be starting off the Bible Club new year with a work day on our new home! The Treehouse is still completing renovations, and we need your help! If you can come during normal Bible Club hours (2:30-5:30), we'll have some painting to do, trim to install, and work for all ages! Please RSVP to Dimity Leath.

This is the exciting day we get to distribute the wonderful gift shoeboxes to our wonderful kids! It will be a fun day of celebration, with a puppet show and all the fun of Bible Club! If you haven't yet, be sure to sign up to make a shoebox gift!

It's time for the Bible Club prize store! The wonderful kids have been working hard to earn points by memorizing scripture and being faithful, kind participants, and this day that get to redeem those points! There will be a store stocked full of awesome stuff, and they get to chose how they spend or save. We will need lots of volunteer support during this crazy day, and even in the days before as we prepare!

It’s time to regroup as volunteers and add tools to our tool belts as we labor together with our MV kids!  We hope everyone will make plans to stick around!

We're kicking off another great summer of Bible Club with a whole week of Rock the Village in partnership with The Church at Brook Hills! We're starting off with a big, blowout celebration of God's work on Sunday, June 5 with a cookout, games, and lots of fun!
